Police are looking for a driver, shooter and anyone else involved in a drive-by shooting that left the windows of an indoor children’s playground punctured by bullet holes in South Windsor.

Officers were sent to the 2500 block of Dougall Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday after a business owner reported someone had fired shots at their windows overnight.
Police said the responding officers found gunshot damage to the windows and shell casings in the parking lot. The business with bullet holes in the window was Slide’s Indoor Playground.
Officers obtained surveillance footage of an SUV entering the parking lot at about 11:12 p.m. Wednesday. Police said a passenger fired rounds from inside the SUV before it sped off in an unknown direction.
The business was closed and vacant at the time. No injuries were reported.
Police said the vehicle was a large white SUV, possibly a newer-model Hyundai Santa Fe.
Investigators are asking business owners and motorists who were in the area to check their surveillance or dashcam footage recorded between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for any potential evidence.
