Garth Brooks’s daughter is facing backlash for her ‘odd’ and ‘selfish’ Instagram post following the death of Dolly Parton at age 80 on Tuesday.
Allie Colleen, 30, took to the social media platform to honor the singer but many commenters were confounded by the tribute.
Colleen, who is a country singer herself, shared a text post that started by saying her ‘greatest fear in life’ is the day her father dies.
‘And I have to see the world mourn a man they never knew the way I knew him,’ the 30-year-old told her followers.
Brooks had Colleen with his former wife, Sandy Mahl, to whom he was married from 1986 to 2001.
