There is plenty of debate going on about whether Tim Membrey’s kick after the siren should have been allowed to happen or should have been play on as Luke Beveridge suggested in his post match press conference.

I’ve looked back at the replays and used the time on the TV coverage although bear in mind that that clock is often a few seconds off that of the official timekeepers.

By my count Membrey takes the marks with 34 seconds to go and the whistle for the mark follows at around 32 seconds.

So he definitely had more than the 30 seconds that he should receive when kicking for goal.
