Kawasaki has given the Versys 650 a small update for the 2027 model year in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom) and gets a new Candy Lime Green colour. Kawasaki has also added smartphone connectivity to the 4.3-inch TFT screen. The rest of the package continues with its familiar touring setup.
The Versys 650 keeps its familiar adventure touring setup. Kawasaki has given the motorcycle a new colour and updated equipment for the new model year.
The motorcycle uses Kawasaki’s 649cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine. It produces 67 PS at 8,500rpm and 61Nm at 7,000rpm. A six speed gearbox sends power to the rear wheel.
Kawasaki uses a tubular diamond frame with long travel suspension. The 41mm telescopic front fork offers 150mm travel, while the rear gets 145mm travel with preload adjustment.
The 17 inch wheels use radial tyres. This setup gives the Versys 650 a road focused character suited to city rides, highways and twisty roads.
The upright riding position gives the rider a relaxed posture. The 21 litre tank is useful for longer trips, and the passenger seat gets dedicated grips.
The windscreen can be adjusted through four positions with around 80mm of total movement. The bike also gets dual channel ABS, LED lights and Kawasaki Traction Control.
The MY27 Kawasaki Versys 650 costs Rs 8.63 lakh ex showroom. It is available in Candy Lime Green, with deliveries scheduled from the end of August 2026.
