'The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth' is coming to theatres and Netflix
A sequel to Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is coming. David Fincher has directed a script written by Tarantino for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which will come exclusively to IMAX theatres on November 25, followed by its Netflix debut on December 23.
Brad Pitt will star as the titular Cliff Booth, reprising his role as a stuntman from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Timothy Olyphant will also return as Western actor James Stacy.
The cast is rounded out by Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.
According to the film's logline, the film is set in 1977 in a "very different Hollywood" from the 1969 depicted in the prior film.
Tarantino had previously planned a film called The Movie Critic to be his 10th and final feature, but he scrapped it in 2024. Cliff Booth will be Fincher's first theatrical release since 2014's Gone Girl.
