The single "Kiss Me When I" will precede the album
Canadian hip-hop legend Kardinal Offishall has been hinting at his new album for a while now, even speaking with Exclaim! in our September 2026 print issue, and now he's confirmed the details. Firestarter Vol. 2: Everyday, Sometimes… will be out September 25.
On Instagram, Kardinal shared the album release date, and promised that the single "Kiss Me When I" (featuring Glenn Lewis) will arrive on September 4. He shared a snippet of the slow jam on Instagram along with a video of a couple kissing.
This latest track follows a series of singles from the rapper, who has released "Where There's Smoke" and "My Brother's Keeper Part 2" (featuring NESTA) already this summer.
Firestarter Vol. 2: Everyday, Sometimes… is the sequel to the 2001 debut album Quest for Fire: Firestarter Vol. 1.
