Simone Ashley's most recent work isn’t acting but music. As many people have already pointed out, this is unfair. We’ve seen how talented she is onscreen. And, like, look at her. And she can sing too??!
The new song is called “Free (Live From Angel Studios)”, released on Friday. Her voice is sweet and she hits those high notes… but I like the lower register too.

Simone will soon have the opportunity to sing and act at the same time. Her next project is a film called Falling, co-starring Sam Claflin and Evan Peters, a love story that is music-based.
Needless to say, given that she seems to be focused on being a vocalist as well as an actor, this sets up to her abilities. Too many abilities! Leave some for the rest of us!

Speaking of falling though, which I know is a corny segue, Simone was just papped in Notting Hill over the weekend, walking hand in hand with her new boyfriend. His name is Jay Jammal. He’s a marketing executive. And as you can see… he is handsome AF, a total snack. They are stupidly gorgeous together, I can’t stand it, I want more of it.
And they don’t just look beautiful they look happy, like blissed out. On a late summer date, out with the dogs, enjoying the weather, a scene so perfect it almost doesn’t seem possible. Not that I’m trying to say this is some kind of setup because, like, what would be the point. The point is she looks like she just stepped out of a storybook, and we love that for her.
