The Detroit Lions welcomed in veteran running back Kareem Hunt on a Tuesday free agency visit.
Hunt, 31, spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, rushing for 611 yards and eight scores on 163 carries. The 10-year NFL vet also caught 18 passes for 143 yards and a score last season in KC.
In his NFL career, Hunt has appeared in 121 games and started 50, rushing for 5,775 yards and 55 touchdowns. Hunt has added 2,209 receiving yards and 18 touchdown grabs.
Hunt's most productive season was his rookie season in 2017 with the Chiefs when he rushed for 1,327 yards and eight scores.
If the Lions were to sign Hunt, he would join a Lions running backs room headlined by superstar Jahmyr Gibbs and by former Chiefs teammate Isiah Pacheco.
