A major deal has landed a Scottish drinks brand a place on shelves in the United States.
Spirits of Virtue, based in Clydebank and specialising in non-alcoholic spirits, has secured a listing at Buc-ee’s, a popular convenience store chain in Texas.
Four of its products will now be sold at seven Buc-ee’s locations across the state, marking the company’s first major entry into the US large-format convenience market and its most significant distribution milestone to date.
The selected Buc-ee’s locations are in Waller, New Braunfels, Bastrop, Texas City, Baytown, Terrel, and Fort Worth.

Spirits of Virtue produces more than 30 SKUs across nine brands, offering alcohol-free alternatives to whiskey, vodka, tequila, gin, and bourbon.
Based in Clydebank, the company has focused on delivering the complexity and flavour of traditional spirits without the alcohol content.
Roddy Nicoll, co-founder of Spirits of Virtue, said: "This is a proof point that non-alcoholic spirits travel beyond specialist retail and on-trade into mainstream, high-volume convenience; Texas is a deliberate beachhead for wider US expansion."
