Quebecor-owned Freedom Mobile is showing off some new promotional deals on some plans.
Posted to r/freedommobile, the plans look to be exclusive offers for the Pacific National Exhibition and are available at one of two booths at the event.

Now, I should note that these plans are only bill credits on the existing data packages. In the fine print, it states that to be eligible for the bill credit, you must activate a new line on the existing plan (175GB + 5GB, 10GB + 1GB, 250GB + 8GB).
Freedom also notes that the credit will be applied prior to your second full month of service. It is also noted that these promotions can’t be combined with any other in-market recurring offers outside of the Digital Discount.
Now, if you were planning on checking out these deals if you are heading to the PNE, it is worth noting that these promotions are subject to change at any time, so they could change before you actually get to them.
To add some context, Freedom cut its data plans back in July and reversed those changes with its current back-to-school offers. Two of the plans that received promotional credits were part of this back-to-school offer.
This isn’t the first time we’ve covered a Freedom event special like this. The telecom provider did something similar for the Calgary Stampede back in July.
