CD Projekt RED has announced The Witcher IV will launch in 2028. Exact platforms haven't been revealed yet.

"We’re going big this year with something very special: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past. We have a lot of the expansion to show off, including a taste of its dark story and the new content it will bring, so join us at Gamescom if you can, where we have a huge booth in Hall 8 and a team ready to show off the first full look at Songs of the Past. And make sure to tune into special RED streams when they go live each and every day. We might even have a surprise or two to share.

"Of course, there is much more happening in the world of The Witcher. Our team here at CD Projekt Red HQ is hard at work on a brand new saga, one with Ciri at the helm. Correct if I am wrong, but I didn't think there are any announced platforms for The Witcher IV other than PC. Meaning a PS5 and Xbox Series release is speculation. I think it would be obvious that it's a PS6/Project Helix title at this point with a release of 2028, with maybe also being cross-gen with PS5/Xbox Series. Or maybe not (?) (see Cyberpunk 2077 trying to run on PS4/Xbox One at launch lol)

It's CD Projekt RED so, I'll believe it when I see it.
