At 7:00 p.m., a large police presence remained in the vicinity of Garfield Park and the immediate area in Davenport. Several squad cars were lined up in the area of Davenport Ave. and 29th St. Our Quad Cities News saw officers talking to neighbors in the area.
Police took photos of and searched an Elantra parked near the intersection.
We do not know details about the incident and will stay in touch with Davenport Police to provide updates when they become available.
All police presence in the park and near Garfield school was gone by 7:10 p.m.
