TOKYO — The Japanese trade ministry will seek 150 billion yen ($944 million) for additional investment in Rapidus in the fiscal 2027 budget, Nikkei has learned, aiming to boost the capital of the made-in-Japan semiconductor manufacturer to encourage lending by top banks.
