YISE Beauty just released their latest product: Xtremely Quenched, and E! chatted with founder Molly Sims for all the details on how this peptide-packed moisturizer gives a "triple layer glow."
For Molly Sims, years in the makeup chair led her to this moment.
The YISE Beauty founder chatted exclusively with E! following the launch of her latest product innovation, the Xtremely Quenched Peptide Instant Glow Moisturizer, which comes on the heels of a slight change for the brand: the name.
"So many people couldn't pronounce [YSE]: 'wait, what does it mean?" Molly explains, "We're not changing who we are, I think we're just getting clearer about it. We're a bunch of women getting wiser."
Knowing her consumers are savvy, means the products also have to (obviously) match that energy. Enter Xtremely Quenched, which Molly says goes beyond your average moisturizer thanks to these key ingredients:
"A lot of women find their makeup doesn't stay on by lunch and they think it's their makeup, but it's because your skin is not hydrated. There's nothing to hold to the makeup, there's slipping, it's sticky," but Xtremely Quenched aims to solve that, Molly shares.
This moisturizer gives what Molly describes as a "triple layer glow": hydration, bounce and a glassy, grippy finish. Ideal for wearing under makeup, just allow it to dry down properly before layering.
Over three years since the brand launched in April 2023, Molly's favorite job still remains "product development," which is a key component of achieving what her customers are after: effective skincare that leads to results you can really see.
"I want to help my woman understand: more doesn't mean more, more doesn't mean better, it's just the right actives and being consistent. That's the magic, that's the magic of YISE," she explains.
Want Molly's recipe for the ultimate dewy summer skin that seriously glows? In addition to the new Xtremely Quenched, enhance your radiance with these serums:
Need glow and bounce ASAP? This is what your routine is missing! This peptide-packed serum plumps and primes your skin for moisturizers and makeup, with a dewy glow.
Rich in antioxidants, this serum "dries down pretty weightless," says Molly. It's made with a gentle blend of brightening, hydrating ingredients to improve texture and tone.
Molly has been open in the past about dealing with melasma and hyperpigmentation following her pregnancies, but even if you're not pregnant, dark spots from being in the sun are a common skin concern around this time of year.
CO2 lasers are a frequently-used treatment to help with hyperpigmentation, but if that's not necessarily in the budget, you can turn to exfoliating, brightening products that promote a more even-toned complexion. Because without products like Your Favorite Ex or The Problem Solver "to get all that dull, dead skin off," your nourishing serums and moisturizers "do nothing," Molly shared.
"Gentle exfoliation every single day will make you more even," she added, noting that your skin doesn't need to feel "fiery" or "burning" to know that it's working, because you'll see a difference with "consistent" use.
