Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow once lost a $60,000 ring in the Palm Springs airport bathroom, but Jen Shah is set to lose an equally iconic piece of jewelry: her ankle monitor. “Page Six” is reporting that the former RHOSLC cast member’s house arrest is set to end on August 28, two days earlier than scheduled. Apparently, it’s Federal Bureau of Prisons policy that if a prisoner’s release date lands on a weekend or holiday (Sunday, August 30, in Shah’s case), they are actually released that Friday. Summer Fridays, they’re not just for email jobs.

Shah is serving the last of her sentence for money laundering. She pleaded guilty in 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. Shah wound up spending two years, nine months, and 23 days. She was released in December 2025 and has spent another eight months under house arrest or in halfway-house confinement. While in prison, Shah became besties with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes while shunning Ghislaine Maxwell. Because a Housewife is going to clique up, regardless of her surroundings.
