The second season of Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners has a release date, and it's being released this year. We also have a new trailer giving us a peek at the 10-episode run.

Season two of Cyberpunk Edgerunners airs 20th October, and the new trailer is the first we've seen that features the full voice acting main cast. This includes actors Valeria Rodriguez (Ranma ½), Kimoy Lee (Star Wars Visions, Monster Hunter Wilds), Nazeeh Tarsha (Genshin Impact, Persona 4 Revival), and the wonderful Clancy Brown (Mr Crabs, Highlander, Invincible).

The second season of Cyberpunk Edgerunners was first revealed back in June, and since then information has trickled out courtesy of early Edgerunners previews and smaller teases here and there.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners' first season was a major hit, amassing almost 15m hours of watch-time in its opening week, and it received wide critical acclaim. Whether or not this second season can live up to – or even surpass – expectations set by the debut season remains to be seen. One can hope!

Whether or not we'll see a similar update to Cyberpunk 2077 like we did following the conclusion of the first season remains to be seen, but this comes at an interesting time for the series in general. We know another game is in production, but we've not seen anything about that just yet. Hopefully soon that'll change!
