Dean Cox’s side will make five changes, with Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, Riley Bice and James Jordon all unavailable for selection the rest of the year.

In their place, James Rowbottom, Angus Sheldrick, Tom Hanily, Harry Cunningham and Caiden Cleary return to the senior side.

Opponents North Melbourne will be without Harry Sheezel due to his facial injury suffered last weekend, but welcome back veteran Luke McDonald and Josh Goater.

In a perhaps refreshing development, the Bombers go in unchanged for the final match of the season, while Port Adelaide lose injured trio Aliir Aliir, Jason Horne-Francis and Willem Drew.

Zak Butters has failed in his final push to get back on the park and also misses for the visitors.

In the final match of the home and away season, both the Eagles and Hawks made one change apiece, though the latter arrive in Perth without Jack Ginnivan for Jack Gunston’s 300th.

Collingwood has opted against resting a number of players for their Friday night duel with Brisbane, as only Noah Howes and Isaac Quaynor come out of their Round 23 side — with Craig McRae opting to play the likes of Nick and Josh Daicos, as well as star ruck Darcy Cameron.

Veterans Jeremy Howe and the retiring Steele Sidebottom return in their place. The opposing Lions make just one change, with Ty Gallop having served his suspension which sees Daniel Annable omitted.

Minor premiers Fremantle have proven themselves the only side willing to rest more than one or two players, with all of Heath Chapman, Sam Switkowski and Jye Amiss managed for the club’s trip out east to Melbourne.

Judd McVee, Bailey Banfield return to the fold, while Tobyn Murray will make his AFL debut against Carlton. An injured Will Hayward and Nick Haynes are out with ankle niggles for Josh Fraser’s side, which sees Lewis Young and Ollie Hollands recalled.

As revealed earlier by Foxfooty.com.au, Callum Ah Chee will be rested for Adelaide’s Saturday night with Richmond, as one of three changes. Taylor Walker returns for his 317th AFL game, alongside teammates Wayne Milera and Alex Neal-Bullen.

The opposing Giants have made just one change, with Xavier O’Halloran in for an injured Cody Angove.
