Train number 04157, Kanpur-Kolkata special train running from Kanpur to Kolkata will depart every Tuesday from 28th July to 29th September.
Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to run two special trains from Agra and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The East Central Railway of Indian Railways has shared important information related to these two special trains. The East Central Railway stated that these two special trains will run via Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Gaya, Gomoh, Dhanbad, and Asansol.
Kanpur-Kolkata-Kanpur Special Train
Train No. 04157, Kanpur-Kolkata Special Train, running from Kanpur to Kolkata, will depart every Tuesday from July 28 to September 29. This train will depart from Kanpur Central at 08:00 am. After departing from Kanpur, the train will stop at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 14:15, Sasaram at 15:35, Gaya at 17:30, Koderma at 18:45, Parasnath at 19:45, Gomoh at 20:05, Dhanbad at 20:40 and other stations before reaching Kolkata at 04:05 a.m. the next day.
On the return journey, Train No. 04158, Kolkata-Kanpur Special Train, will run from Kolkata to Kanpur on every Wednesday from 29th July to 30th September. This train will depart from Kolkata at 07:25 a.m. Starting its journey from Kolkata, the train will stop at Dhanbad at 12:45, Gomoh at 1:05, Parasnath at 1:25, Koderma at 1:15, Gaya at 1:45, Sasaram at 1:15, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 1:30 and will reach Kanpur Central at 1:25 midnight the next day. This special train will have one Second Class AC coach, four Third Class AC coaches, nine Sleeper Class coaches and eight General Class coaches.
Agra Cantt-Kolkata-Agra Cantt Special Train
Train No. 01911, Agra Cantt-Kolkata Express, will depart from Agra Cantt to Kolkata every Thursday from July 30th to September 24th. The train will depart from Agra Cantt at 03:40 AM. Starting from Agra, the train will stop at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 14:15 PM, Sasaram at 15:35 PM, Gaya at 17:30 PM, Koderma at 18:45 PM, Parasnath at 19:45 PM, Gomoh at 20:05 PM, and Dhanbad at 20:40 PM before arriving in Kolkata at 04:05 AM the next morning.
On the return journey, Train No. 09112, Kolkata-Agra Cantt Special Train, will depart from Kolkata to Agra Cantt every Friday from July 31st to September 25th. This train will depart from Kolkata at 07.25 am and stop at Dhanbad at 12.45 pm, Gomoh at 13.05 pm, Parasnath at 13.25 pm, Koderma at 14.15 pm, Gaya at 15.45 pm, Sasaram at 17.15 pm, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction at 18.30 pm and will reach Agra Cantt at 08.00 am the next day. This special train will have 1 second class AC, 2 third class AC, 10 sleeper class and 4 general class coaches.
