August 4, Tuesday (Ker Puja): All public and private sector banks in Tripura (Agartala) will remain closed on the occasion of Ker Puja.
August 8, 2nd Saturday (Tendong Lo Rum Phat and 2nd Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Sikkim due to ‘Tendong Lo Rum Phat’ (major festival of Lepcha tribe). At the same time, being the second Saturday of the month, this day will be a national holiday for all banks including State Bank of India, HDFC, ICICI and PNB across the country.

August 26 (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, MP, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Kerala on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad/Thiruvonam.
August 28 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in many states including Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, UP, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on the holy festival of Rakshabandhan.
