Nuh Braj Mandal Yatra: The administration of Nuh district of Haryana is on high alert regarding ‘Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra’ to be held on August 3. To accommodate the large number of devotees and smooth flow of traffic, the administration has declared a one-day holiday in all government and private schools in the district. The District Education Officer has issued orders to all educational institutions to follow these instructions.
According to the district administration, this decision was taken after the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Akhil Pilani. Officials said that during the Yatra, a large number of devotees will come to many parts of the district, due to which traffic diversion and restrictions will have to be imposed on the main roads. Therefore, a holiday has been declared to protect students, teachers and school transport from any inconvenience or security risk.
In the order issued by the District Education Officer, it was clearly stated that all government, government-aided and private schools in the district will remain closed on August 3. School administrators and concerned officials have been instructed to strictly follow the order and not be negligent in any way.
The administration said that extensive arrangements have been made to strengthen security on the yatra route. Additional police forces will be deployed at sensitive places and a special traffic plan will be implemented to manage traffic on main roads. Police and administrative officials will keep constant vigil during the entire program to ensure safe and orderly movement of devotees.
A decision has already been taken to deploy seven police companies and about 800 policemen to handle security during the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. Apart from this, senior police officers are constantly reviewing the security preparations. The yatra route will also be monitored through CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems.
It is noteworthy that last year also, keeping the security and traffic management in mind, the district administration had declared holiday in schools during the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra. This time too, the administration is taking precautionary measures under the same strategy so that the procession can be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
The district administration has appealed to the citizens to follow the traffic advisory issued and avoid going on the procession routes without any need. People are advised to use alternative routes during the event unless absolutely necessary. The administration says that all preparations have been made keeping in mind the safety of the devotees and the convenience of the general public.
This decision will not only improve the security arrangements during the procession, but students and parents will also be able to avoid traffic jams and other possible problems.
