The Australian’s Margin Call column, in reporting on Commonwealth Bank chief Matt Comyn’s offloading of $8.4 million worth of shares in the company this week, neglected to mention an interesting detail, as noted by Crikey founder Stephen Mayne.
Comyn confirmed that he has separated from his wife Lucy-Ellen, with whom he shared a trust that held most of the shares he recently sold off (he still personally has an interest worth around $18 million in CommBank through performance rights and restricted shares as chief executive).
