It's harp on Natalie Harp week, with Sen. John Ossoff kicking things off by telling a crowd that President Donald Trump doesn't want to work; he just wants to "travel with Natalie." Picking up on what Nancy Pelosi called the wrap-up smear, CNN's Erin Burnett tracked down Harp's estranged stoner brother to try to get some dirt on her, while The New York Times' Maggie Haberman literally dehumanized her by calling her a "human binkie." Miami Herald investigative journalist referred to Harp as Trump's "side piece." (There sure seem to be a lot of bitter white women out there jealous of a successful young cancer survivor with an important job in the administration.)
The alleged purpose of The New York Times piece was to answer the question, "What does Harp actually do?" Bill Kristol is paying Harp's whopping $150,000 salary and says we have every right to ask, "what job serving the president she's doing."
To all the people whining about any commentary on Natalie Harp:We’re paying her $150,000 salary. Trump isn’t. Perfectly legitimate to ask what job serving the public she’s doing.
Maybe, but I'd much rather know where my taxes went regarding SNAP, Medicaid, etc.
Yeah cause you ask that of everyone? Right? You absolute 🤡
@BillKristol Should all diligent working women be suspected of sleeping with the boss? Jon Ossoff presents himself as a feminist. Most of us think women and men go to work to work. Who questioned her salary or duties?
If the standard is that taxpayers are entitled to scrutinize every $150,000 White House staffer, fine. Apply it consistently. But “she travels with the President” isn’t evidence of a scandal…. it’s literally what senior presidential aides do.
She's an executive assistant to the President but you know that you just want to keep creating division any way you can, jackass.
What is it that you do? I thought you were some great conservative. No you have let hate for one man completely destroy everything you believe in. Or maybe you were just not truthful. No one is going to listen to you.
People were apparently "whining" about the piece in The Bulwark that Kristol reposted:
“Man, I wish Trump were just having an affair with someone forty-five years his junior. That kind of relationship would make sense. It would be gross, but intelligible. The reality of the Trump–Harp…thing…is so bonkers that I don’t have words for it.”https://t.co/r6HViUDj6W
"Trump's Human Printer Is Cray-Cray." Let's see if we can guess who wrote that without looking … yep, it's Jonathan V. Last.
We have to talk about the Trump–Natalie Harp thing. I’m sorry. I had a big piece about economics teed up for today. About limbic capitalism and global reserve currency. (I can feel your excitement.)
But people are freaking out over the idea that Trump might be shtupping his human printer and I want to talk about that.
Man, I wish Trump were just having an affair with someone forty-five years his junior. That kind of relationship would make sense. It would be gross, but intelligible. The reality of the Trump–Harp . . . thing . . . is so bonkers that I don’t have words for it.
