Windsor police are investigating a possible hate crime after a shirtless man chucked rocks through the windows of a church on Giles Boulevard.

Police said the man was caught on surveillance video on Aug. 7 throwing rocks through two windows of a church in the 100 block of Giles Boulevard East. He then fled on foot.
The Windsor Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. Investigators said they are working to determine if the act of vandalism wash “hate-motivated.”
Police said the man had a medium complexion and a black-and-grey goatee. He was wearing a blue Toronto Blue Jays hat, blue jeans and black-and-purple shoes. Police said he wasn’t wearing a shirt but had a black one hanging from the waistband of his pants.
