Swansea City are poised to let the forward head up to the Scottish Premiership on a temporary basis despite attention from League One. He is under contract with the Swans until June 2029 meaning he still has three years left to run down on his deal in South Wales.

Wales, 21, was snapped up by the Championship side back in May 2025 as one for the future and he has since made six first-team competitive appearances so far, chipping in with one goal and one assist. He spent time away at Huddersfield Town in the third tier last season but failed to score in six matches for the Terriers.

In this latest update regarding his situation in this transfer window, the Daily Record claim he is expected to link up with Dundee now for a new challenge. Reading, Cambridge United and Stevenage have also been mentioned as potential suitors, as well as Motherwell.

Swansea City won 2-1 away at Stoke City on the opening day. Joseph Opoku and Adam Idah got their goals against the Potters.
