Ellie McCartney says she is being inspired by Mona McSharry and Ellen Walshe after another week of impressive performances in the pool.
McCartney, fresh off a Commonwealth bronze medal, was in action in the European games in Paris.
She didn't get a medal on this occasion but she did produce a season best to reach the 200m breaststroke final and also competed strongly in the individual medley as well as the relay.
And she says she is delighted to make Fermanagh proud but heaped praise on her competitors and teammates for how they have pushed her on.
She said: "Coming here and producing a season best is what the competition is for. It is good to end on a high.
"I'm super happy with it, I knew my heat was strong but to see myself and Mona in the final was great.
"To make it to a final and go again and make a semi-final is something I'm proud of.
"Mentally it is taking it one race at a time. Once the 200 breast was done I put it to the back of my mind and it was straight to getting ready for the IM.
"This morning I was nice and fresh doing the heats so tonight I didn't know what to expect after the breast but I was pleased with how it went.
"Mona and Ellen are in both of my events and have both won medals and if it wasn't for them pushing the standards higher every time I wouldn't be where I am today.
"Enniskillen and Fermanagh is such a small part of Ireland and it brings a lot of pride to my county and my town."
