The 2027 Super Netball rosters are taking shape, with plenty of player movement still to come.
Only four clubs opted to sign players from within during the first contract period – the West Coast Fever, NSW Swifts, Sunshine Coast Lightning and Melbourne Mavericks.
But the other four teams have waited for the final contracting period that runs to August 28 – where athletes can be signed to multi-year deals.

AUG 18 – FEVER AXE SECOND STAR AS ENGLAND INTERNATIONAL WALKS
Only a week after the West Coast Fever dumped skipper Jess Anstiss in a move labelled a “huge mistake” by one of their own premiership players, the club has now farewelled both Jordan Cransberg and Sasha Glasgow.
Glasgow’s exit is particularly controversial, given the club conceded a deal between the two parties could not be reached ahead of the 2027 season.
“While we would have liked to keep Sasha at the club, it became clear during discussions with her management that we were unable to reach an agreement that worked for both parties,” club general manager Sara Francis-Bayman said.
“She has been a valued member of the club, and we thank her for everything she has given to the green dress.”
It is a shock ending for Glasgow in the west, given she returned to her best form early in the season in her first year back at the club.
Glasgow was Fever’s premiership MVP before moving to the Melbourne Mavericks as an inaugural signing before a devastating injury hampered her time over east.
Her decision to return to Perth to play under Dan Ryan saw the Fever let go of Jamaican goal attack Shanice Beckford for the 2026 season.
But Glasgow’s performances were enough to see her return to England’s international ranks and take part in the Commonwealth Games last month.
Following Glasgow out the door is Jordan Cransberg after the club confirmed a new deal was not offered to the Victorian midcourter on Tuesday.
