Sarah J. Maas has wiped her Instagram grid, so she means business. Last March, Maas shared that A Court of Thorns and Roses is getting two new additions “very soon,” and she has the receipts to prove it. The covers and titles for the new books are as follows: Book six is now known as A Court of Splintered Harmony, out this year on October 27, 2026. Your Halloween party is now an ACOTAR book club session. Maas herself teased it as “What was broken will be remade.” Thankfully, Bloomsbury Publishing has a little more information to give. In book six, the Night Court needs to find a way to work together to fight Koschei the Deathless or risk more innocent deaths.
Book seven comes out early next year, leaving you barely enough time to catch your breath from book six. A Court of Forgotten Melody is out on January 27, 2027, with the teaser: “What was lost will be reclaimed.” It seems like whatever reunification that briefly happens in Splintered Harmony falls apart. Why can’t anyone in Prythian get along?
