Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have now been together for about a year. It was official last September when they were first photographed together holding hands, but the relationship probably started around the time of the Bozos wedding in June 2025. Officially, then, at least on the gossip books, this is their first full summer as a couple and they’ve been seen on holiday – in London and also on a yacht in Mallorca. Included in this post are photos of them in both places.
It’s been the most quiet year for Sydney in terms of major performances and releases with only season three of Euphoria on the books, although she has been in production on at least two projects (she wrapped on Gundam just a few weeks ago) with several more in development.
And she’s been visible with her brand partnerships, plus her own intimates line, SYRN. Just last week SYRN collaborated on a smoothie with Erewhon and I only know about it because it infiltrated my algorithm uninvited. Nothing about my internet and social media activity suggests that I f-ck with this. In fact, the Erewhon smoothie thing kind of embodies what I hate most about LA.
Sydney’s Smoothie is $22 USD. TWENTY-TWO DOLLARS for a smoothie that allegedly tastes like a blueberry muffin topped with fake bacon. I wouldn’t even if it was free but, like, $22?! For $22 you can have dinner for two, with all the side dishes, get super full, at a family restaurant in Japan, no exaggeration. In Hakone Jacek and I walked into an adorable little place with some time to kill before our train, ate enough for an entire day, and paid $25 CAD which, today, actually works out to under $20 USD.
You cannot tell me that whatever celebrity’s Erewhon smoothie is worth that much more than a regular, garden variety smoothie that you can get from any shop on the corner in any city, I will never believe it. But let me say something nice – some of the SYRN bralettes and boxers look pretty cute from the new collection called “Campus Crush”, capitalising on all the Off Campus hype, perfectly timed to drop for back to school this week.
Kayleigh Donaldson writes about the passing of Hayden Panettiere, and this is how it should be done. I know that’s not necessarily the point but in terms of media coverage, it becomes a question of editorial approach. Because other outlets are giving us minute by minute reporting on the tragedy.
