Alright, that's all the changes we'll see from Arsenal today. Gyokeres and Zubimendi replace Havertz and Lewis-Skelly, both of whom have done their Arsenal careers a favour in my opinion with their performances today.
Excellent anticipation from Donnarumma to come rushing off his line and scoop the ball to safety before Saka, who had hared beyond the defence, could get there.
They're delying on a lot of last-ditch efforts here, City. Little about them feels polished or methodical.
Cherki forces a save from Raya at the other end, but it was only a half-chance… and their first shot on target this half.
Yes, it's only the Community Shield but it's still unsettling to see City looking so diminished. I don't remember them being this comprehensively outplayed under Guardiola very often at all.
Everything about Arsenal exudes swagger. Even in their own box, being relentlessly pressed, they look calm as a swan. Raya didn't panic when being hounded on the ball just there and they played it out of defence with a succession of one and two-touch moves.
Arsenal are dominating. Odegaard makes the supposedly fresh-legged Lewis look like he was stuck in treacle with a no-touch turn in midfield. Then, Saka was released on the right flank, and completely bosses Gvardiol to get past him and release a shot. He probably went too early and comes away with a smile. He'll have a fun half-hour here at this rate.
City’s midfield just not dynamic enough. This performance makes it even more imperative they get the transfer business right and Enzo Fernandez’s value continues to rise.

Arsenal also make adjustments. Bukayo Saka and Piero Hincapie are on for Noni Madueke and goalscorer Riccardo Calafiori, who was on a yellow card after a dive.
City are just looking disjointed. Anderson just floated in a promising cross… until you saw that it was on a one-way trip to Raya's gloves and no City shirts were in sight.
At least Marecs has gone for changes – he simply had to. I'm not sure taking Haaland off is the solution. His quieter games sometimes end up being his most deadly. Let's see what happens.
