The Adelaide Thunderbirds have confirmed a second triple-premiership star is departing, with midcourter Tayla Williams opting not to accept a new deal with the club.
Williams, who made her debut during the COVID hub in Queensland, has been a club mainstay and served as vice-captain this season.
But limited court time has seen the talented 26-year-old accept a new deal elsewhere – with that club to be announced this week.
“I’ll always be incredibly grateful to Tania, Cathy and the broader Thunderbirds team for giving me an opportunity to play SSN,” she said.
“It has been an absolute privilege to wear the pink dress, and I’ll always be incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to achieve.
“I’ll forever be grateful for my time and have a special place in my heart for this club.”
