Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 Prediction: Emraan Hashmi's massive fan base is shedding happy tears these days for all the right reasons. After all, the talented actor, who had won millions of hearts 19 years ago as Shivam Pandit in Awarapan despite the movie's box office failure, is back with the much awaited sequel to the movie and it has been creating waves in the town ever since it was announced. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Awarapan 2 also features Disha Patani, Shabani Azmi and Suvinder Vicky in the lead.
Opened to rave reviews, Awarapan 2 has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Surpassing the lifetime collection of Awarapan on the opening day itself, Awarapan 2 has been roaring loud at the box office since the beginning. In fact, despite facing a box office clash with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer Batwara 1947, Awarapan 2 has been enjoying a good run and has been giving a tough time to its competitors at the domestic box office. And given the ongoing trend, Awarapan 2 is expected to end the opening weekend on a grand note.
After recording an occupancy of 31.77% during morning shows on Independence day (second day of release), Awarapan 2 saw a slight dip in footfalls today in morning shows. Yes! You read it right. Awarapan 2 recorded an occupancy of 25.69% during mornign shows on day 3 and is expected to pick up pace during the day owing to the nostalgia and rave reviews about the movie
On the other hand, after minting Rs 33.75cr on day 2, Awarapan 2 is likely to have a steady hold in numbers today and will be earning around Rs 30cr at the box office on day 3 (first Sunday). This is likely to take the overall collection to around Rs 85cr nett post the opening weekend while the gross collection is expected to cross Rs 100cr. If the prediction turned out to be true, Awarapan 2 is expected to become Emraan's second fastest movie to enter Rs 100cr club after Tiger 3. Meanwhile, Awarapan 2 witnessed a decent response in the morning shows today wherein it failed to mint Rs 3.07cr until 1pm
Meanwhile, Awarapan 2 has been shining bright at the worldwide box office as well wherein it has minted Rs 6cr at the overseas market after 2 days of release and the worldwide collection turned out to be Rs 72.9cr.
