Ottawa police arrested one person following an altercation that left a bagpiper injured in downtown Ottawa on Saturday afternoon.

Ottawa Police Service Patrol Sgt. Jason Riopel said the musician had minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
The Ottawa Citizen witnessed the bagpipe player with what appeared to be an injured left hand.
âIt seems like (the altercation) was unprovoked,â Riopel said. âBut weâre still trying to determine what the motive was.â
