For the ride, you’ll get a briefing from Ms. Marvel in the pre-show, where she’ll prep you for your mission as a new recruit. As the newest member of the team, you will help reassemble the Avengers to fight King Thanos, traveling through favorite Marvel hot spots like Asgard, Wakanda, and New York City. At D23’s Horizons: Disney Experiences, Disney showed some behind-the-scenes clips of Downey Jr. and co. putting their old suits back on to be immortalized in Disney Parks lore.
Avengers Infinity Defense opens in 2028, when you can tell the person next to you: “You know, before he was Dr. Doom, he used to be Iron Man.”
