Great Britain have been overtaken by Italy in the medal table at the European Athletics Championships 2026 but still have plenty of opportunities to win more gold on the final day of competition.
After winning the 100m and 200m. Amy Hunt continued her quest for a quadruple of sprint medals as she won gold in the 4x100m relay, while Dina Asher-Smith made history winning that title by becoming the joint-most decorated athlete at European level of all time.
GB backed it up with victory in the men's 4x100m relay, with the home nation the hot favourites in the mixed 4x100m relay.
Georgia Hunter Bell is still to come, with the middle distance runner prioritising the 1,500m. There was disappointment, though, for Keely Hodgkinson as she missed out to rival Audrey Werro in a thrilling 800m.
