A Florida mother and father who allegedly violently shook their baby daughter to death played Call of Duty afterwards, prosecutors claimed.
Robert Lee Ingram Jr., 22, and Gracie Jai Tellez, 20, were arrested last Friday by US Marshals in Jacksonville for allegedly causing the death of their seven-week-old infant last October inside their Hollywood home, the Marshals Service announced.
Ingram and Tellez had been charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child and neglect of a child on July 27 after an investigation by the Hollywood Police Department.
The parents initially claimed their daughter had been fed a bottle and placed in her bassinet for a nap shortly before being found unresponsive.
Investigators found that the couple's phones had been used to play Call of Duty and watch YouTube videos in the moments before they dialed 911, according to an affidavit reported by Local10.
The parents had told police their devices had been used for FaceTime as makeshift baby monitors, per the reported affidavit.
The 911 call about the couple's daughter was placed at approximately 11.53am last October 14.
However, the affidavit described Ingram's phone being used to play Call of Duty until 11.49am, with Tellez's phone on the game until 11.52am.

The affidavit said that the 'forensic downloads show[ed] the information provided by Gracie Tellez and Robert Ingram was not truthful,' per the outlet.
Ingram would have also played Call of Duty overnight, from about 5.12am to 8.39am, in the hours before the death.
The couple's baby daughter was rushed to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood after police officers and paramedics performed CPR on her at Tellez's home in Hollywood. The one-bed, one-bath property is valued at roughly $365,000.
The affidavit claimed that investigators believed the size and layout of the home would have meant that the parents would have effectively known about what caused their daughter's injuries.
