Keeping a car clean isn’t always about having a vacuum cleaner and a bunch of cleaning products. There are plenty of tiny areas where dust, debris and dirt tend to accumulate, and getting to them can be a pain. This is where a compact air duster like the Xech X-Jet Neo can come in handy.

Priced at ₹1,899, the X-Jet Neo is a cordless air duster that can be used not just for your car, but also for gadgets, keyboards and other hard-to-reach areas around the house. Its biggest advantage is its compact size, which makes it easy to carry around and store.

Powering the X-Jet Neo is a 120-watt brushless motor that can spin at up to 110,000 RPM. There are six speed levels, allowing you to control how much air is being thrown out. This is particularly useful when you’re working around delicate electronics or simply don’t need maximum airflow.

The device also gets a small digital display that shows the selected speed as well as the remaining battery percentage. There’s an LED light as well, which can be useful when you’re trying to clean dark or difficult-to-see areas.

Charging is fairly convenient too, thanks to the USB Type-C port. You don’t need to carry around a proprietary charger, making it easier to top up the battery using the same charger or cable you probably already carry.

In terms of build quality, the X-Jet Neo feels well made. The plastic construction doesn’t feel cheap, and the compact form factor makes it quite comfortable to use. More importantly, it doesn’t take up much space, so you can easily keep it in the car or a drawer at home.

I used it to clean some of the harder-to-reach areas of my car, and that’s where the product makes the most sense. Whether it’s blowing dust out from gaps around the seats, the dashboard, vents or other tight spaces, the concentrated airflow works quite well. Instead of trying to reach these areas with a cloth or brush, you can simply blow the debris out and then clean it up.

The X-Jet Neo also makes sense as a companion to a vacuum cleaner. In fact, I have also got a compact wireless vacuum cleaner from Xech, and we’ll be reviewing that soon. Used together, the two could make for a fairly effective car-cleaning setup because the air duster loosens and pushes out the dirt, while the vacuum picks it up.

The Xech X-Jet Neo isn’t meant to replace a proper vacuum cleaner, nor does it need to. Its appeal lies in being a small, portable tool for those little cleaning jobs that are otherwise difficult to tackle.

At ₹1,899, it seems like a reasonably useful addition if you regularly clean your car, gadgets or other equipment. The compact size, six speed settings, digital display, Type-C charging and strong brushless motor make it a versatile little tool.

If you already have a vacuum cleaner and want something to complement it, the X-Jet Neo makes even more sense. Blow the dust and debris out of those difficult corners, and then vacuum it up. Simple, effective and, most importantly, easy to carry around.
