Max Alleyne will spend the 2026/27 on loan with Championship side Burnley.
The 21-year-old defender played during City's pre-season tour of Asia, but will now move to Turf Moor as the Clarets attempt to return to the Premier League.
Alleyne joined Watford in a similar deal in August 2025, making 17 appearances for the Hornets and impressing during his time at Vicarage Road.
He was recalled to City in January 2026 as the Blues suffered a defensive injury crisis, making his senior debut against Brighton.
He scored his first senior goal in a 10-1 FA Cup win over Exeter City, and made seven appearances until our defensive issues eased.
Everybody at Manchester City wishes Max luck during the upcoming campaign.
