Taylor Swift debuted a haircut while on a girls' night out in London late Aug. 12, marking her first appearance since marrying Travis Kelce in NYC on July 3.
Darling, Taylor Swift will always be dressed like a daydream.
But the “Blank Space” singer is clearly channeling her 1989 era now more than ever as she stepped out for the first time since marrying Travis Kelce last month with a brand new, short haircut.
Although Swift’s new style is slightly longer than the bob she was shaking off in the mid-2010s, the Grammy winner debuted a chop just past her shoulders, during an outing in London late Aug. 12.
Of course, Swift proved her bangs will never go out of style, still appearing to sport her side-swept fringe—along with a short purple dress adorned with pink florals—as she made her way out of Annabel’s, a private member’s club, alongside a pal for a girls’ night out.
The “Opalite” singer’s latest night out came just as her husband Kelce shared the first bit of insight of their couple’s wedding night straight from the newlyweds themselves.
“Wedding was the best night of my life,” Kelce said in a press conference during the Chiefs’ summer training camp. Aug. 12. “I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I got from that night.”
And as for why Kelce and Swift, both 36, opted to ditch the rose garden for Madison Square?
“It’s kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue and the mecca of all sports venues—being able to get married there,” Kelce explained. “We can thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that. Knowing we wanted a private event and everything. It was perfect. And the AC was cookin’ baby. That was the best part.”
Meanwhile, the couples’ evergreen group of friends have also teased some of what happened before glitter hit the floor after the party.
“The entire thing was fantastic,” San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle mused on the Unbuttoned podcast last month. “I had so much fun.”
Indeed, Kittle emphasized that the world’s most famous arena felt as intimate as any “family outing” and emphasized that the ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect.
“They both did such a fantastic job explaining, like telling a story of who they were, and then what they came to be,” he recalled. “So that was really fun to see.”
