TCS InQuizitive Ahmedabad: Anamaya and Pramitnil Emerge Winners
Anamaya Sharma and Pramitnil Maiti of Zydus School for Excellence, Vejalpur, emerged winners of the Ahmedabad edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026, securing their place in the semi-finals of the national inter-school quiz competition.
The Ahmedabad round saw an intense battle of knowledge and quick thinking, with 233 teams from 32 schools participating. Teams from Ahmedabad as well as Anand, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Vapi and Udaipur took part in the competition.
The winning duo impressed with their knowledge, teamwork and problem-solving abilities, reflecting the spirit of curiosity and learning that TCS InQuizitive seeks to foster among school students.
The event was attended by Dharmendra Singh, Director, Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara, as the Chief Guest, along with Namrata Somani, Regional Head, TCS Ahmedabad.
A key highlight of this year’s competition was the introduction of real-time AI-powered analytics, allowing participants to assess their performance after each round and identify areas where they could improve.
Open to students from Grades 8 to 12, TCS InQuizitive combines general knowledge with contemporary subjects such as education, entertainment, sports, business, advertising and social media. The 2026 edition has placed additional emphasis on STEM and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics and robotics.
Now in its 28th year, TCS InQuizitive has evolved into one of India’s prominent inter-school quizzing platforms. The 2026 edition is being conducted across 12 cities, with the regional winners progressing to the semi-finals and ultimately the National Finale in Mumbai.
Rashmi Furtado: Bringing Experience and Energy to the Quiz
The Ahmedabad round was hosted by Rashmi Furtado, a highly experienced professional quiz host known for her engaging style, quick wit and ability to keep young participants involved in high-pressure quizzing. TCS describes her as Asia’s only professional lady quiz host. An alumna of the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, and IIM Calcutta, Furtado has hosted nearly 750 quiz shows across India, Singapore and the Middle East. She has also been invited to host quizzes in Kuwait for four consecutive years.
Her credentials include being recognised by Business World among its 40 Under 40 personalities and winning the Quiz Host of the Year 2022 award at the SMX Leadership Summit. She was also part of TCS InQuizitive last year, bringing considerable familiarity and experience to the 2026 edition.
