In a rather hilarious turn of events, a man was spotted breaking into a Triumph Motorcycles showroom, making coffee, using facilities, dancing before stealing a Rs 4.71 lakh bike. I have reported numerous shocking incidents from various parts of the country. This one certainly qualifies as one of those. While burglary is unfortunately not uncommon in our country, the way of accomplishing this ‘task’ definitely is. One might assume that a thief would be in a hurry, but it was evidently not the case here. Let us delve into the specifics of this case.

The details stem from dalimss.news.banaras on Instagram. The caption of this post mentions that a Triumph motorcycle worth Rs 4.71 lakh was stolen from a dealership in the Manduadih area of Varanasi. However, the details of this case are weird, to say the least. Allegedly, a man broke into the showroom using a cutter to break the glass. Interestingly, he was in no hurry to steal the bike. Instead, he sat comfortably in the chairs, used the showroom facilities, even took a show and prepared coffee. Therefore, he danced around for a while and finally picked a motorcycle and left. Clearly, the man wanted to enjoy his time while he was in there.

According the showroom manager, the dealership was closed at around 10 PM on Monday. The main accused broke in at around 11:30 PM. What is surprising is that the security guard didn’t notice anything. Furthermore, the CCTV footage caught the man patiently inspecting all the models parked in the facility. After staying inside until around 4 AM, he took the bike and left. The security guard informed the Police about the incident via Dial 112 at around 5 AM. The Police arrived at the scene briefly thereafter and a forensic team collected fingerprints and other evidence to launch an investigation. We will need to wait to know more developments in this case.
