Marvel’s Wolverine is only a month away, and Sony has now revealed that new accessories, console bundles, covers, and controllers will be released alongside the game.
Now, the main thing shown off in a PlayStation Blog post is a Battle Yellow limited edition bundle. This bundle includes a black-and-yellow Wolverine-themed PS5 Digital Edition, a matching DualSense controller, and a code for the game.
The designs on the console are honestly pretty neat. They feature a monochrome portrait of Wolverine (reminiscent of the late-2000s/early 2010s graffiti-style artwork) alongside contrasting claw marks — which also appear on the controller.
Now, if you don’t want to spend a chunk of change on a whole new console just to have the new Wolverine theming, there is some good news. The covers that come with the console can also be purchased separately. One small downside, though, is that the covers will only be available for two versions of the PS5 — the slim and the Pro models. If you have a disc version of the console (like me), you’re sadly out of luck.
Sony also showed off the best of the skins at the end — limited edition covers for the Ps5 Pro that are “Inspired by the adamantium bonded to Logan’s skeleton and claws,” which is pretty cool. The design doesn’t change compared to the Battle Yellow; instead, the yellow is swapped out for a nice silver finish. There is also a silver-and-black Wolverine-themed DualSense controller available for purchase.
The Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Digital Edition bundle and the accessories will be available for preorder on August 19 at 10 AM local time. Following this, everything will be released on September 15, 2026, alongside the Wolverine game.
