Mahindra has released the first teaser of the upcoming BE 6 Sporteq, offering an early glimpse of the electric SUV’s revised cabin ahead of its official unveiling on August 15. The teaser confirms one of the most significant interior upgrades—a new triple-screen layout—which is expected to distinguish the Sporteq as a higher-spec variant within the BE 6 range.

The updated cabin introduces three 12.3-inch displays spanning the dashboard, integrating the digital instrument cluster, infotainment system and a passenger-side screen. This setup has already been seen on other recent Mahindra electric models and now makes its way to the BE 6. The existing dual-screen arrangement is likely to continue on lower variants.

Alongside the new display configuration, the BE 6 Sporteq is expected to feature a redesigned dashboard. The revised layout replaces the distinctive driver-focused loop found in the current model with a more conventional horizontal design. The change is expected to improve cabin usability by providing easier access to storage areas, charging ports and other controls. The teaser also hints at a fresh tan interior theme for the seats and dashboard.

Mechanically, no major changes are anticipated. The BE 6 Sporteq is expected to retain the existing rear-wheel-drive electric powertrain, although Mahindra is yet to confirm whether the new variant will be available with both battery pack options or exclusively with the larger unit.

The standard BE 6 is currently offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, producing up to 286 HP and 380 Nm of torque. The larger battery pack claims a certified driving range of up to 682 km on a full charge.

The Mahindra BE 6 is currently priced between Rs. 18.90 lakhs and Rs. 26.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). With additional equipment and the upgraded interior, the Sporteq variant is expected to be positioned above the existing top trim when it goes on sale.
