Sky Gold reported an 86% y-o-y increase in standalone profit after tax to ₹60.58 crore in Q1FY27, compared with ₹32.59 crore in Q1FY26.

Sky Gold shares jumped to hit a fresh 52-week high of ₹815.95 before ending with 8.37 per cent gains at ₹779.60 on the NSE after the company reported strong growth in its June quarter results. Consolidated net profit more than doubled to ₹104.90 crore for the quarter ended June 30, from ₹43.58 crore a year earlier, while total income rose 78 per cent to ₹2,012.8 crore.

It reported an 86 per cent y-o-y increase in standalone profit after tax to ₹60.58 crore in Q1FY27, compared with ₹32.59 crore in Q1FY26.

Revenue from operations increased 77.6 per cent to ₹1,440.04 crore from ₹810.80 crore.

Consolidated total expenses rose to ₹1,885.94 crore from ₹1,076.70 crore in the year-ago period.

Managing Director Mangesh Chauhan said Q1FY27 was a strong start to the year, with robust growth and sustained margin improvement reflecting disciplined execution and achieving operating efficiency for scale.

Chauhan said the company continues to see healthy demand for lightweight, versatile and value-added jewellery.

He added that the company’s early focus on ultra-lightweight products and an expanding portfolio across lower-carat and diamond-studded categories had helped it respond quickly to shifting consumer preferences.
