Music, Fashion, Film, and underwear. That pretty much sums up Charli XCX’s headlining set at San Francisco’s Outside Lands, where she made panties rain down in Golden Gate Park. Charli’s been moving away from her Brat persona on her latest album, but for her OSL performance that streamed on Amazon Music on Friday night, she kept the core of her party girl at the heart of the show. For her festival circuit shows, she’s brought out a plethora of beautiful models to dance and jump around with for songs like “Rock music,” “Yeah,” and “Apple.” She kept her chats with the audience to a minimum and let her music and the rain of underwear during “Guess” do the talking.
Her festival shows are just a tease for what’s to come for her upcoming Music, Fashion, Film tour later this year.
