The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday's card in "Sin City," including one to a newly minted lightweight contender from the main event.

After UFC Fight Night 284, four fighters picked up an extra $100,000 for their performances at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. Additionally, five fighters got $25,000 extra checks for finishes that weren't bonus-winners.

Diego Ferreira (21-7 MMA, 12-7 UFC) put on one of the best performances of his career when he outworked Billy Quarantillo (20-9 MMA, 6-6 UFC) for a unanimous decision in a 15-minute co-main event slugfest.

Quillan Salkilld (13-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) submitted Mateusz Gamrot (26-5 MMA, 9-5 UFC) in the first round of the main event and now has four straight first-round finishes – and four bonuses over that same time. He took Gamrot out with relative ease with a rear-naked choke late in the first round.

Ty Miller (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) put on a thoroughly dominant performance against Billy Ray Goff (9-5 MMA, 1-3 UFC) to open the main card. After a 10-8 second round, he put him away just 15 seconds into the third. He became a rare case of requesting a bonus – and actually getting one.

Yadier del Valle (11-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was the heaviest favorite on the card and showed why when he took out Darren Elkins (29-13 MMA, 19-12 UFC) in just 35 seconds in Elkins' retirement fight.

Diyar Nurgozhay (12-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) had one of the card's sickest finishes when he took out Bruno Lopes (14-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC) in the first round

Jose Montanha (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) was the only underdog winner on the card. The Brazilian heavyweight ripped through Louie Sutherland (11-6 MMA, 1-3 UFC) with relative ease for a first-round rear-naked choke.

Miles Johns (16-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) got clipped against Gianni Vazquez (14-6-1 MMA, 0-2 UFC) and taken off his feet. It looked like he was in trouble against an opponent who took the fight on just two days' notice – but seconds later, he landed a left that put Vazquez on the canvas and he finished him a few punches after that.

Juliana Miller (5-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) said her job in the UFC was on the line in the second fight of the night against Ravena Oliveira (7-5-1 MMA, 0-4 UFC). The Season 29 "Ultimate Fighter" winner made sure she left no doubt with a slick transition to a rear-naked choke in the second round.
