Holly Willoughby has admitted to “stalking” Joanne McNally on Instagram.

Last month the former This Morning presenter, 45, launched her new YouTube series Holly Willoughby Together.

On the latest episode her guest was comedian, podcaster, writer and presenter McNally, who was determined to convince Willoughby that tracksuits are the “ultimate wardrobe staple”.

When introducing McNally, Willoughby admitted being a huge fan of the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcaster.

She said: “I’m not sure I’ve ever been so excited by anything in my entire life because today’s guest I feel like I know her really, really well, but I think I’ve met her once.

“I’ve stalked her on Instagram, I’ve sent her messages and the reason why this is, is because of her podcast with Vogue Williams … but today Joanne McNally is in our studio, and we are going to be talking about tracksuits.

“But before that I’m obviously going to be asking her lots of questions I just want to know personally.”

After McNally joined her in the studio, Willoughby told her about her love of her podcast, which launched in 2021.

“I love you. You and Vogue are the best things ever. There’s not an episode I haven’t listened to,” she said.

“I also love that you girls are so open and honest. It’s so refreshingly honest.”

During their chat, Willoughby and McNally discussed other subjects including tattoos and McNally breaking the record for the most alcohol purchased by an audience during a single show at the London Palladium.

The two went on to try a range of tracksuit styles during the 45-minute episode.

Covering topics such as practical advice, fashion, beauty and health, Willoughby’s new lifestyle channel, Together, launched on July 28 and has featured guests Stanley Tucci, Katherine Ryan and campaigner Ellen Roome, whose son Julian “Jools” Sweeney died in 2022 after what his mother believes was an online challenge went wrong.
