Nearly two years after Love Island USA's Serena Page and Kordell Beckham won season six of the dating reality competition, Serena shared a glimpse into the relationship's next steps with E! News.

As the Love Island USA season six winners prepare to celebrate their second anniversary with a romantic European vacation, Page set the record straight about whether a proposal is in her near future.
"We're going to Italy," she teased in an exclusive E! News interview at Variety's Power of Young Hollywood red carpet Aug. 5 in Beverly Hills. But when it comes to getting engaged, she added, "That's not what's happening this go around, guys."
Although she won't be returning from the vacation with a diamond ring on that finger, she trusts that Kordell—who was her date for the evening—can plan an unforgettable proposal. She will, however, take the lead on the jewelry.
"I'm gonna do the ring," the 26-year-old emphasized. "I already have what I want, all the specs, all the deets, so that will be mine. But everything else is up to him. It's all on him."
While Serena and Kordell, 24, won't be hearing wedding bells just yet, they have proven that love beyond the villa is possible, but not without some work.
"Staying authentic, staying true to yourself," Serena explained of the key to their relationship, "then lines won't get blurred. You won't feel jaded or anything like that."
The two weren't the only lovebirds to keep the flame alive after Fiji.
Although season seven alum Iris Kendall placed in fourth with Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez, she eventually rekindled her romance with fellow contestant TJ Palma outside of the reality TV show.
"It's so different," she told E! at the annual event. "In the villa, you're just in your own world and then when you come out, there are so many more obstacles and things that you have to go through together."
Nonetheless, it's been paradise, with Kendall, 26, emphasizing, "I prefer outside the villa than in the villa."
Meanwhile, Palma shared insight into how they navigate their romance in the spotlight.
"In the villa, you're very secluded and nothing else matters, but outside, there're real-world factors," he explained. "Now, there's everyone's opinion on the relationship."
But the 24-year-old is more than happy to press mute on the outside noise, adding that he and Kendall are "just trying to stay ourselves."
