He is best known for hosting the daytime game show Deal Or No Deal from 2005 to 2016.

But these days, Noel Edmonds can be found living a holistic lifestyle as a resident of a sprawling multimillion-dollar estate in New Zealand.

The odd-shoe-wearing TV personality, 77, and his wife, Liz, 56, relocated to the country in 2019, where they live on their stunning 800-acre estate, which comes complete with an 'energy bowl' on the grounds which fills up with 'positive water' when it rains.

While his TV appearances are now few and far between, he briefly returned to the box with a three-part documentary series on ITV last year, which followed his new life on his estate.

After the show wrapped up, Noel, who divides his time between the Isle of Man and New Zealand, has kept a relatively low profile from the showbiz circuit.

That was until earlier this week when he sparked backlash after he posted a now viral clip online which showed him buying live lobsters from the supermarket to release into the sea.

While he now keeps a relatively low profile, Noel hit headlines after posting a clip online which showed him buying live lobsters from the supermarket to release into the sea

The presenter and his wife Liz were filmed returning the crustaceans to the water at Peel Harbour on the Isle of Man after purchasing them from a tank at a local farm shop.

In a clip shared on Instagram, he said that the couple felt 'uncomfortable' seeing the lobsters confined in the tank and decided to buy them so they could be set free.

Releasing a supermarket or restaurant lobster is generally discouraged due to low survival rates.

Handled and stressed lobsters are rarely equipped to survive in the wild, and releasing them can introduce foreign diseases or disrupt local marine ecosystems

Noel said in an Instagram video which now has its comments disabled: 'All right, this is one of those more bizarre things that happens with us.

'We were at a place where there were some lobsters in a tank, and we're a little bit uncomfortable about the lobsters and tanks.'
